The all new 2014 Chevy Chevelle with 2014 Chevy Chevelle Release Date, Specification, Review, Features and Price. The 2014 Chevy Chevelle has remained virtually unchanged since being introduced in 2008 with the exceptions of new engines, new transmission and more power. It has been rumored that the next generation Chevelle would depart from the full sized platform – the next generation 2014 Chevelle could arrive as soon as 2014 and when it does, it will still share “DNA” with the sedans.
While there are no specifics, it sure sounds like the 2014 Chevy Chevelle will still be built on some form of the large (and heavy) Sports platform. Because of that, we probably won’t be getting a more compact 2014 Chevelle that will better compete (in terms of dimensions) with the likes of the Mustang and Camaro but we can expect that the new 2014 Chevy Chevelle will pack enough power to continue to attract lovers of big power.
There are also suggestions that the 2014 Chevy Chevelle could depart from the Chevrolet brand, instead becoming the next vehicle under the Sports brand. However, unless the Sports brand expands their offerings to include V6 and lower performance V8 models – the 2014 Chevrolet Chevelle lineup will not quite fit in with the direction of the Sports lineup.
